  • Install fiber/cable/duct underground and in trench.

  • Perform construction work such as digging holes, setting handholes/peds, and placing duct to poles.

  • Conduct safety checks, service equipment, and perform minor repairs (oil, fluids, etc.).

  • Follow directions from crew Foreman and support the team with assigned tasks.

  • Communicate effectively with team members in the field.

  • Maintain quality and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and vehicles.

  • Work safely and strive for optimal production on every job.

What Will Help You Stand Out

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

  • Ability to operate power tools, testing equipment, air compressors, etc.

  • Ability to work safely with or without supervision.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong listening and communication skills.

  • Ability to recognize above- and below-ground hazards.

  • Experience working in or near vehicular/pedestrian traffic.

  • Able to give and receive hand signals or instructions clearly.

  • Willingness to learn and take direction from Foreman/crew.

What to Expect

  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, mud, etc.).

  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 80 lbs).

  • Travel to various job locations depending on projects.

  • Extended overnight travel (2+ consecutive weeks) via company vehicle, airplane, or bus.

  • Must pass background check, drug screen, and other job-related pre-hire requirements.
