Nationwide Skilled Trades is looking for Structural Fitters for a job in Hollywood, SC.
Responsibilities for Structural Fitters:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout and assembly of structural components
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Fit and align components according to specifications using techniques such as welding, bolting, and riveting
- Perform quality checks to ensure that the finished product meets the required standards
Requirements for Structural Fitters:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar job setting
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively
